Welcome to Highbrea Boarding Kennels
Are you searching for kennels in Angus? If so then make your first port of call Highbrea Boarding Kennels. I have 8 years experience in dog training, am fully insured and annually inspected by the local council, so you are assured of a professional service of the highest standard. My operation is small enough to care for each dog personally and I am always happy to cater for your dog's individual requirements for the duration of the stay.
Covering Areas in Angus
We are based only 3 miles from A90 and cover areas from Aberdeen to Dundee Road, Brechin, Laurencekirk, Montrose, Arbroath, Angus, Kirrimuir and The Glens.
Vaccinations
All dogs must arrive at Highbrea Kennels with an up to date vaccination card, including protection against infectious bronchitis (kennel cough) and must be up to date with flea and worming treatments. I am fully insured for accidents and emergency vet treatment but this does not cover existing conditions. Please ask your vet for further information/advice.
Opening times
We are open for arrivals, departures and callers at the following times:
Monday - Saturday 9 - 11am and 4:30 - 6pm
Sunday 9 - 12 noon.
We welcome 'out of hours' inspections by arrangement.
Tarriff
Small/medium/large
£9 per day for 1 dog
£15 per day for 2 dogs sharing
£22 per day 3 dogs sharing
Boarding fees are chargeable by the day to include day of arrival and day of departure, i.e a dog delivered Saturday and collected on Monday - 3 day charge payable on departure.
Accommodation
The Kennels
The kennels are 22in in total and fully licensed by Angus council. They are purpose built, light, airy and heated having an inside and outside covered run all enclosed within the building and we also give daily access to large secure shingle and grass paddocks for free exercise and playtime. Lead walks are available if desired.
The kennels are a unique design giving each dog its own living area so no dogs have to face each other providing the most stable and calm environment for your dog away from home.
Beds
We provide plastic beds with a 'vet bed lining', we do recommend you provide your dogs own bedding and toys to help them feel at home.
Food
We can supply good quality food at a reasonable charge but would prefer dog owners to supply their own individual brand to again encourage continuity for the dog. Biscuits at bed time are provided.
About Me
My whole life has been animals and in particular dogs, working, training, breeding and just enjoying them, so have dealt with many characters from shy to anxious to some that are so laid back they are almost horizontal!
Its very rewarding for me to gain the trust of your dogs while they're staying with me and lovely when they bounce back to me on repeat visits remembering who I am, its great!
I have 10 years in animal husbandry owning and personally running Highbrea boarding kennels in yorkshire befre my husband and I relocated to Angus.
I enjoy our way of life and the kennels are small enough for me to provide a truly individual service to your dog that is completely tailored to their requirements throughout their stay with us.
